The Institute for Human Continuity (IHC) is issuing a lottery for those interested in gaining one of the few remaining positions within one of their planned shelters.
The IHC began developing Operation Safe Haven decades ago in secret in advance of the what is projected to be worldwide calamities occuring on December 12, 2012. To try and ensure human kind’s survival, the IHC has been developing of space based (lunar and free floating), floating, and subterranean colonies using former missile silos as their base of construction.
Their goal is to have seven FFSC (Free Floating Space Colonies) in place by March 2012 in advance of the, dare I say it, apocalyptic events they are predicting will happen. Here is an artist’s rendition:

I at least have a shot if the world goes bonkers. Can you be sure it won’t? I don’t place bets against that type of thing so count me in.
I guess those guys probably don’t want to know that the Mayan message is that the world will end but a new one will begin after that … I think we’re calling it GM 2.0 now.
